When adding numbers, you can use your fingers to help with the counting. For the first number, look at the back of your left hand and starting with your pinky, raise the number of fingers that corresponds with the number. For the second number, look at the back of your right hand, and starting with your thumb, raise the corresponding number of fingers. Then count all the raised fingers to determine the total.
